Rating by category:
Location was nice and the city keep it really nice care. Also the resturant was really good.
The housekeeping need ots of improvement.
The location; easy check out of dvd's; restaurant quality.
I booked a king room as that was what was available for my two teen sons and me (their mom) with the indication that a roll away bed could be accommodate. When we arrived, I was told they king room I booked was one of their "theme" rooms. It was all black and red with an open bathroom area and spa tub with mirrors everywhere a la Las Vegas. Very uncomfortable design; very disappointing that I was not aware of it when I booked.
Proximity to Arc Row shops, ferry to San Fran and designer rooms. Also liked outdoor fireplace near pool.
Three story walk-up and elevator was a bit small to service so many rooms.
The location of the Hotel in Tiburon was excellent and also the ease of access to San Francisco across the bay either by road or ferry. The room was very classy and the staff were great.
We loved that the hotel was very well maintained and *clean*. Decor was new, modern and lovely! We were in a room on the third (top) floor and it was really quiet, until the neighbours checked in (see below on what we didn't like about the hotel).
The walls were quite thin. We could hear our noisy, rowdy neighbours.
The convenient, no charge parking. The accomodating staff. The excellent location. The rooms are clean and cleaned regularly at good times.
Bar/restaraunt closed way too early.
This is crazy, but the room had the best shower ever! It felt very luxurious! The beds were very comfortable and the entire atmosphere was very pleasant.
Location to town, quietness
The hotel was a perfect ending to our week long trip
The location and close proximity to sf downtown, either via Ferry or car. Ease of proximity to Napa and country areas to explore on a day trip. Staff were very helpful and once room location was changed found more to our liking. As a couple from a non city area we look for quiet and that was not so easily found.
Having booked via the internet we found our initial room was older than advertised with no fridge which was a real surprise. Had asked for a quiet room and found ourselves alongside an ice dispensing unit which made short shift of quiet! Moved to another room which was more in line with the look in the brochure but here the sound of air conditioners were pretty constant. Despite this we loved the location and the restaurant was very appealing, staff were very helpful.
We used several features, the pool, hot tub, even the gas log fireplace at night. We stayed on the ground level across from the lobby. Tried the dining room which was also good. Overall a great stay.
There was no laundramat with in the hotel but there was one close by. The gym left a little to be desired. Ice machine was only on the second floor. None of these things made for a bad experience
I liked the town of Tiburon. Also it potentially offers a slightly more affordable alternative to the tourist hotels in Sausalito.
My God, it was noisy! Not so much because of parties or loud music. It was noisy because it's an old frame structure with no insulation between rooms. And between floors. Three times last night we had to hear the couple above us do the horizontal mambo. Squeak squeak squeak Squeak Squeak squeak squeak squeak skweek! Skweek! Skweeeeeeek! Silence. But three times?? Does this guy sell Viagra or something? Very impressive. Anyway, it was noisy. Won't be going back.
on this occasion nothing....i like The The Lodge because love the location
When we checked in there was a renovation in progress of the restaurant. We specifically came to Tiburon and chose the The Lodge also for the restaurant and they had workers on site making noise from 9 am to 7 pm. We made the reservation with Booked.net and nobody advised us about the construction work. THis was not professionally because if they would of let us know we would of booked else where. They did reduce our room rate but that is not the point. A customers should have the right to be informed if there is construction on site and this was not done...the room should of been free of charge a this point due to the noise or at least 50% off the rate we paid. I just feel that the hotel just wanted to cash in the money because they did not inform the clients when the reservation was made. THis is not ok and they should have informed Booked.net about this.
Room was good area good
No dining facility no guest information of what was available in area, local restaurants all closed early on sunday
